The
following is a list of area and state agencies that are currently
offering financial, food and clothing assistance for those in
need:

ASHLAND
AREA ASSISTANCE
Pet
Food Pantry –
The Checkered Pantry is a newly-formed local organization based
out of Ashland that provides a 2-week supply of pet food for those
who need some
assistance. There is
no income criteria and they will deliver
to you if needed. Call

Cleveland
Food Bank Mobile Pantry
– free groceries as passed out the third Friday
of every month at the Loudonville Lions Club, 634 Wooster Rd.,
Loudonville.

and gas coupons
– Available for emergency situations to residents of Loudonville.
May be used once every 4 months.

Loudonville-Perrysville
Prescription Fund –
Available to residents of the Loudonville-Perrysville
school district, you may get help with the cost of your
prescriptions, up to $100, as often as once every 6 months.

call 419-994-4601 between 9am and 4pm.
Helping
Hands –
2pm-5pm Tuesdays in the Loudonville Youth Building on North
Union Street – emergency assistance is available for utilities,
rent, prescriptions,
and food for L-P school district residents.

ASSISTANCE
Food Stamps
)now called "Food Assistance Benefits")
Ohio
food stamps may be available to your family if you meet the
following criteria:
a.
Less than $2,000 in liquid assets (which includes bank
accounts, cash, stocks, and savings bonds) or
b.
Less than $3,000 in liquid assets if there are 2 or more
people in the household and one is age 60 or older
AND
c.
Your gross (before tax) household income falls below
certain levels.
Here
